Dr. Andrew Ryan Medico
Dr. Medico
Doctor of Chiropractic | 1st Year of Practice
Caring for athletes and families at Standridge Clinic, with a focus on movement, function, and long-term health.
Dr. Andrew Medico is a newly licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who is passionate about helping patients move more comfortably, stay active, and feel confident in their health. He provides personalized, evidenceinformed care designed around each patient’s needs, goals, and lifestyle.
Dr. Medico earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Kansas. His education included extensive training in chiropractic techniques (Gonstead, Motion Palpation, Activator), anatomy, physiology, differential diagnosis, radiographic imaging, rehabilitation, and patient-centered care. He takes the time to listen carefully, answer questions, and ensure that patients understand their care options.
Whether patients are managing discomfort, recovering from an injury, working to improve mobility, or looking for support in maintaining an active lifestyle, Dr. Medico believes care should be individualized and practical. His approach focuses not only on addressing current symptoms but also on helping patients understand their bodies and take an active role in their long-term health.
A loving family member influenced me growing up to pursue a career in healthcare. During my junior year at Southern Nazarene University, I was unsure about my career path, so I started shadowing different healthcare professions that interested me.
I had the opportunity to shadow at a chiropractic clinic in Oklahoma City and was later invited to attend a chiropractic conference. There, I learned more about the profession and its ability to make a meaningful, holistic impact on patients’ lives. I was drawn to the anatomy, physiology, patient stories, and the freedom that comes with being a chiropractor. By the end of that experience, I knew I had found my calling.
What I enjoy most about working with patients is the journey of getting them from a initial place of discomfort/limitations to functionality and freedom.
My approach to patient care is centered around listening to each patient, understanding the root cause of their concerns, and creating an individualized treatment plan. I focus on evidence-based chiropractic care, patient education, and helping patients achieve long-term improvements in their health, mobility, and overall quality of life.
I am especially passionate about working with athletes and helping them achieve optimal performance through injury prevention, recovery, mobility, and overall wellness. I am also passionate about missionary work and serving others through healthcare, using my skills to make a positive impact, while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and showing his love through service.

Services
Spinal and Extremity Adjustmen
Chiropractic adjustments help restore proper joint motion, reduce pain, and improve nervous system function. Dr. Davies uses techniques like Diversified, Gonstead, and Activator to deliver precise, controlled adjustments tailored to your needs—whether you’re an athlete recovering from injury or a parent with everyday tension. Adjustments are safe, gentle, and part of a full-body strategy for long-term movement and function.
Soft Tissue Cupping
Cupping uses gentle suction to lift and decompress tight muscles and fascia. This improves local circulation, reduces muscle tension, and supports recovery. While often used for athletes, cupping is helpful for anyone dealing with tightness, soreness, or movement restriction. It’s a relaxing, supportive addition to a full care plan.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue
This hands-on therapy targets muscle tension and fascia restrictions, helping to relieve pain, improve flexibility, and restore normal movement. Dr. Davies uses myofascial release to address trigger points, postural imbalances, and areas of chronic tightness— often before or after an adjustment to maximize results.
Sport Physicals
Dr. Medico provides sports physicals for athletes of all ages to ensure they’re healthy, safe, and ready for competition. These evaluations assess overall health, joint and muscle function, and injury history to prevent future setbacks and give athletes confidence to perform at their best.
